• (4) GSoC Foomatic project status (Daniel Dressler)

  - Finished up printer and drivers
  
  - Added options, except combos
    - A 'combo' is a driver plus specific options
    - Every driver has its own options (in separate XML files)
    - In C, options only parsed for combos (constraints are lost)
  
  - Added legacy - handling for multi-lingual
  
  - Added full - every language present in XML
  
  - Added scripts for easy verification of XML database via XSDs
  
  - Cleaned up front page
  
  - Perl implementation of overviews is slower than C (but acceptable)
    - Perl uses about 15% of code than C
  
  - Next steps
    - Finish overview
      - Including PostScript
    - Start on combos
