- Goals
  - More accessible to "PWG Neophytes"
    - Clear process states and transitions, diagrammed, end-to-end (whitepaper
      to ratification)
  
  - Develop a "PWG Process FAQ" (as an HTML page?)
    - "Where do I find the XXX document?"
    - "How do PWG standards get created?"

  - Core process 4.0 spec
    - Job descriptions
    - Reference to other "named" policy documents that would contain particular
      policies
    - Process should be process-oriented, using numbered lists, etc. rather 
      than rambling narratives

  - Semantic Model updates / pseudo code / code / (test plans?) required for 
    new and updated PWG specifications
    - Requiring schema maintenance as a part of IPP specification? 
      Or that we recommend that Semantic Model changes / additions be included
      in the development process and/or in the specification authorship process
    - Models & IPP alignment with these models
      - SM2
        - We want to bring to closure with resolution of the issues Ira has 
          discussed (e.g., IPP Scan and IPP Fax new attributes)
      - SM3
        - Not intended to be backward compatible with SM2
        - Several IPP specifications' domains are not covered in SM2 and will 
          be characterized via schema in SM3
    - Consensus : RECOMMEND that Semantic Model changes / additions be included
      in the development process and/or in the specification authorship process 
      for IPP (SM2 and/or SM3 as appropriate, depending on the specification 
      being developed)

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG
- OPEN - action applies particularly to LDAP OID usage
- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID
- Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID

- IBM gave the PWG a permanent arc for the LDAP schema OIDs for the version 2 schema

ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles

ACTION: Ira and Alan work w/ Anne Price to develop a joint TCG/PWG demo of HCD-TNC profile in a Printer with a Router or OS evaluating the Printer Health

ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work
- OPEN - perhaps have as a topic for the August F2F to enumerate core set of concepts with which to construct an outline for the document - Smith to add discussion of this topic as a slide / topic for the August F2F plenary
ACTION: Smith to send out screen captures of Wireshark before / after updates to IPP mailing list
