(8) AMSC/ISO report

- Discussion
  - See SC minutes from 06/01/17

  - ISO JTC1 3D Print Study Group (ISO TC261?)
    - Ira to help Paul with ISO 10175 (DPA) for PWG synopsis so that the       description of the PWG includes a link back to ISO 10175

    - This will help SDO groups to understand better why we are connected 
      into specific SDO spaces

  - ISO TC130
    - Graphic arts people
      - take care of the PDF spec

    - Paul spoke with them about job ticketing
      - they like that our model covers both 2D and 3D
      - Paul shared relevant PWG documents with them

    - We seem to be getting into their scope of awareness at an opportune time

    - Paul will sign up with the TC130 US TAG with an "observer" role
      - If it looks like there is need for higher level of engagement we will 
        then pursue a liaison with TC130 (because ISO is huge and multi-
        tentacled)

  - AMSC
    - Meeting in Washington D.C. July 26 (next in F2F series)

    - Need to move on the liaison agreement so we can report as such at that 
      meeting

    - Using the "liaison agreement packet" that Jane is constructing for PWG

ACTION: Ira to help Paul with ISO 10175 (DPA - the predecessor / progenitor of the PWG and IPP) for PWG synopsis for ISO JTC1 3D

- Discussion
  - Jane sent a draft liaison packet to Paul privately
    - Paul to forward to SC

  - Who to use liaison packet with?
    - 3MF Consortium

  - IEEE SA liaison status
    - Do we have to do this onesie-twosie or can we set up a liaison with 
      the IEEE SA as a whole?
      - Question for Jane to work with her contact on an answer?

ACTION: Paul to forward Jane's liaison packet draft to SC

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG
- OPEN - pwg-mib-numbers-20091220.txt
- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles
- IN PROGRESS - pwg-namespace-policy-20160820.txt is first draft
ACTION: Smith/Ira to write job descriptions for PWG Chair, PWG Vice-Chair, and PWG Secretary
- IN PROGRESS - should result into a new policy document (eventually plain text but start with MS Word working drafts)
- Smith sent initial draft to Ira - Ira proofed and posted for SC review - feedback from Bill requesting more details on the specific responsibilities of each officer - next draft out soon?
ACTION: Ira and Alan work w/ Anne Price to develop a joint TCG/PWG demo of HCD-TNC profile in a Printer with a Router or OS evaluating the Printer Health

ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work
