      relatively stable semi-final state

    - Set deadlines for comments
      - Deadlines cannot be tight if we want feedback from some time constrained 
        SC members

    - Contributions are better than comments lacking replacement text

  - Process proposal
    - 1. Anne + Chair + 1-3 individuals to create initial draft to set scope and 
      audience expectations

    - 2. Chair brings initial draft to SC

    - 3. SC evolves the document to a relatively stable semi-final state

    - 4. Anne pulled back in to finalize / approve / release

  - Draft IETF Best Current Practice
    - "Terminology, Power, and Inclusive Language in Internet-Drafts and RFCs"

  - Talks about language and terminology that is in some way exclusive, and
    proposes replacement language that is more inclusive
    - E.g., Master -> Slave to be replaced with something less suggestive of 
      unsavory human practices

  - Protocol terminology in IPP is probably fine already

  - Use Cases - do they need to be sanitized? 
    - Replace names with roles to neutralize that problem (Bill) 

    - Update templates and PWG style guide to recommend / encourage this type 
      of Use Case style

(9) GSoC and GSoD 2020 - Update (Ira / All)

  - GSoC - Very successful 
    - All 7 OP students passed their first GSoC evaluation

    - Aakash Lahoti withdrew from IPP Scan project in July 2020
      - OP mentors are trying to re-staff the project with new students using the 
        code that Aakash committed but into the wrong module

    - Other 6 OP students passed their second GSoC evaluation this week


  - GSoD - LF/OP was accepted
    - One of the LF/OP GSoC projects will probably get a document via GSoD

    - Technical writer applications deadline was 9 July 2020

    - Next milestone is in mid-August (it is more active in the Fall / Winter)

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work

- Perhaps have as a topic for some future PWG F2F to enumerate core set of concepts with which to construct an outline for the document
