- Now supports send/receive content-length delimited HTTP messages

- Now supports bringing up embedded web page on the Printer in a browser

(4) Status of CUPS and CUPS Filters (Till)

- CUPS Filters v1.0.54 released (Till)
  - Current release v1.0.54 features
    - pdftoraster filter - Till has now completed
      - parallel to gstoraster
    - rastertopdf filter - Till has now completed
      - 16-bit color support
    - completes emulation of IPP Everywhere for legacy PDF printers

  - Next release v1.0.55 features
    - many bug fixes
    - foomatic-rip, imagetoraster, pdftoraster, rastertopclx,
      rastertopdf
      - added colord "device_inhibit" support for color-managed filters
      - added "cm-calibration" command line option support (Joe Simon)
      - so either method can be used to turn off color management
    - bannertopdf filter
      - added PPD-less printing support
      - so one gets a useful test page with PPD-less queues now
